THE BUZZ: Ever since the first GTA V trailer released folks have been speculating who will voice the lead character. Now an answer may have been revealed thanks to some detective work.

A member on the GTAForums spotted some pretty convincing similarities between the man on the balcony and an actor known as Ned Luke. In the past GTA’s main protagonists have looked similar to their voice actors, and a quick listen to the actor’s demo reel also reveals that he sounds like the guy voicing the debut GTA V trailer. To add more fuel to the fire fellow actor and Ned Luke’s supposed cousin Jimmy Taenaka posted the following on Twitter:

“My fellow thespian Ned Luke is the lead voice and profile in the upcoming game by Rockstar Grand Theft Auto 5! Way to go Ned! Wholly Molly!”

“Grand Theft Auto V trailer with Ned Luke our homey as the LEAD!”

EGM’s TAKE: Um…the tweets may say more than the evidence, assuming, of course, they are true. And the similarity is uncanny. Come on Rockstar, time to tell us if we’re on the right track.
