RUMOR: Early Half-Life 2: Episode 3 Artwork Leaked By Valve Fan Site
Posted on June 28, 2012 AT 12:24pm
Although it could very easily be a giant hoax, a Valve fan site has posted an extensive gallery of art that claims to be early concepts from the Half-Life 2: Episode 3 team. Most of the artwork falls into two categories—variations of leading character Alyx Vance and various environment concepts with some enemy-type figures.
ValveTime posted the artwork on their Facebook page just yesterday, and since then the imagery has generated hundreds of reactions from hopeful fans.
Judging by the artwork and costume variations, it looks like there’s some sort of a Russian theme at work here. Whether it’s concept art or simply just fan art posing as the real deal, it’s still three years old—even if it’s legit, it may be way off from what the game looks like now.
Of course, that’s assuming it’s still in development. Personally, I don’t think Half-Life 2: Episode 3 even exists.
