RUMOR: Infinity Ward Hiring For Next-Gen Call Of Duty

THE BUZZ: Infinity Ward has recently announced plans to release DLC for Modern Warfare 3 over the next nine months, but could the team also be prepping for a next generation outing in 2013?
Infinity Ward recently posted a job listing looking for a senior animator with next-gen tech experience, which could offer the clearest indication of work starting on a next generation title. The developer is, “seeking a Senior Animator, preferably with experience in game development and an interest in working with next-generation technologies,” according to the advert. It has also seems likely that Sledgehammer games will once again be on board for the next Infinity Ward Call of Duty title.
EGM’s TAKE: Now this of course all conjecture based off one advert. It could easily just be for prototype work, however with next generation consoles seemingly just round the corner it stands a chance that Activison will want a Call of Duty title on them as soon as possible.
Could the team be prepping for a next-gen Call of Duty title? Leave your thoughts below.
