THE BUZZ: According to sources the next generation of Kinect will be so powerful it will be able to lip read.
Sources have told Eurogamer that Kinect 2 will come bundled with future Xbox consoles and feature improved motion controls, voice recognition and even recognize emotions via pitch of voice and facial expressions.
EGM’s TAKE: It appears that Microsoft are planning on making controller-less gaming a major part of its next generation strategy. Not to mention enabling the robot take over. I hope our new masters will be kind.
