Leaked artwork for The Creative Assembly’s upcoming Alien game, titled Alien: Isolation, seemingly confirms previous reports of a female lead character.
Earlier this year a Kotaku report claimed that Isolation will star Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Ellen Ripley, who was played by actress Sigourney Weaver in the first film. The artwork (below) appeared on NeoGAF and features the game’s name with an image of a woman, who is presumably Amanda Ripley.
Isolation sees you stranded on a space station and pits you against just one Xenomorph for “most” of the game, with the majority of enemies being “clones and soldiers.” The game will be a first-person shooter that combines stealth and horror.
The Creative Assembly announced that it was working on a new Alien game back in 2011, and its website describes it as a “jaw-dropping title based on the Alien IP.”
Alien: Isolation is set to release in 2014 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
