UPDATE: EA has now clarified that the listing was an error. “I can confirm that it was an error on the site,” said a U.K. rep for the publisher. “As previously confirmed, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is coming out on 360, PS3 and PC.”

ORIGINAL STORY: EA currently has a listing for Medal of Honor: Warfighter on PlayStation Vita in the help section of their website, could this be a precursor to an announcement, or just an admin error.

The Online EA Help Center has the game listed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and PlayStation Vita. The first three we already knew about, but EA has never mentioned anything about a Vita version. You can check it out for yourself, head over to the Help Center, click on “Contact Us,” search for “Medal of Honor: Warfighter,” and finally select the game in both drop down boxes. Now when you go to “Select Platform” the Vita appears.

Now before you go getting all excited, remember that this could simply just be an admin error, someone in charge of the site could have accidentally ticked the Vita box in the help section. Although, with a Vita version of Call of Duty on the way maybe EA is looking to take it on in the handheld market as well as consoles. EA is yet to comment on the listing.

Would you be interested in a Vita version?
