Microsoft is set to host its next Xbox reveal event at the end of April, according to a new source.

CVG associate editor Rob Crossley claims that he has been informed by a reliable source that the event will take place on April 26. Crossley tweeted the following:

The next Xbox event is scheduled for April 26th, I’ve been told by someone I trust. Microsoft may change date, obvs, but diarise tentatively

While it’s obvious that this isn’t anywhere near an official announcement it does coincide with previous rumors of an April reveal. We’re already pretty sure that Microsoft won’t wait around until E3, we will all just have to wait and see what happens won’t we.
