RUMOR: Next Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC to Feature Jill Nabato

THE BUZZ: An image has been circulating online that appears to show the next DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

The image shows Lieutenant Colonel Jill Nabato, from the original Final Fantasy XIII, standing in the Coliseum preparing to fight Noel and Serah. The Coliseum is an area of Final Fantasy XIII-2 where you can fight strong enemies from Final Fantasy games past and present, and if you win you can add that character to your party. The first Coliseum DLC released last week added Lightning and Amodar.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s hard to see why anyone would bother faking an image such as this, since Jill Nabato isn’t the sort of character that is going to excite the Final Fantasy world, so chances are that it’s real. Now if someone had placed Cloud or Sephiroth in the image, then everyone would be screaming fake. So the question now is when will the DLC officially be announced, and will she be on her own or with other characters similar to the last DLC.
