THE BUZZ: A photo has appeared on the internet that is supposedly a shot of a promotional poster of Black Ops 2—a poster that also includes an interesting date.
EGM’s TAKE: According to Kotaku, they received the photo from an unnamed “retail source”—and that the poster is connected with the rumor that Activision will be releasing a Black Ops sequel this year as their yearly Call of Duty release.
As well, on the poster a date is given—May 2nd, 2012—with the line “Return for Debriefing” below it. Obviously that wouldn’t be a release date, so it’ll no doubt instead be a date when Activision plans to make some sort of announcement about the game.
While we’ve no confirmation on what this poster is for just yet, it isn’t the first time detailed for a supposed Black Ops sequel have found their way to the the internet in recent months—so that’s looking more and more like a sure bet.
