RUMOR: PS3 Exclusive The Last of Us Referenced in Uncharted 3

THE BUZZ: The Last of Us has been teased as, “a PlayStation 3 exclusive you won’t believe,” and is set to be revealed at the VGAs this weekend. But is their a sly reference to the game hidden away in Uncharted 3?

When playing through the opening bar scene in Uncharted 3 there is a newspaper on the bar which references a “deadly fungus,” and the last teaser image for The Last of Us featured a headline stating, “millions feared dead or infected.” Also on the wall of the bar is a calender with the date October 31 circled. Could this be a possible release date?

EGM’s TAKE: These could just be complete coincidences, but if there is a connection does this mean that Naughty Dog is the team behind this mysterious exclusive?
