THE BUZZ: A rumor has begun circling claiming that Resident Evil 6 will make its debut at the Tokyo Game Show this year.

WHAT WE KNOW: In the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK they mention in their rumor section that the next “proper” Resident Evil game will make its debut at the show this year. This rumor comes just days after Xbox World magazine printed something similar in their publication. The rumour reads;

”The next ‘proper’ Resi game will be at the Tokyo Game Show next month. Earlier in the year, one of Capcom’s producers, Masachika Kawata, described the game ”as a complete renovation” of the series.”

EGM’s TAKE: There has been a lot of rumor and speculation regarding the next Resident Evil game and with the Tokyo Game Show being the biggest trade show for Japanese developers I wouldn’t be surprised to at least hear Capcom mention something about the game.
