RUMOR: Rocksteady Working On Next-Gen Batman Prequel Featuring The Justice League
Posted on July 11, 2012 AT 07:46am

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City developer Rocksteady Studios is working on a prequel to the series featuring Batman and DC Universe’s Justice League, according to a new report.
The title will be set before the current series of games, and details Batman’s first meeting with the Joker. It will be set in DC’s Silver Age of comic books, with Batman forming the Justice League of America, featuring heroes such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Flash, Variety website reports.
According to the report, the game won’t launch until 2014 “at the earliest,” which seems to point to a release on the next-generation of consoles. The source claims that Warner Bros. is keen to promote other DC characters to build their reputation, as it readies for future films.
So how does the idea sound to you? Excited to see other DC characters?
