THE BUZZ: A “pre-vis” trailer, which appears to be for Sim City 5, has appeared online and points to a 2013 release date.

The video shows a bunch of still images of the game (pre-vis trailers are usual used as story boards for the actual trailer).

EGM’s TAKE: The fact that the trailer has survived this long seems to suggest that it may be real, surely a fake trailer for a game that EA is set to officially announce soon would be removed. We should find out the truth at GDC this week as EA Maxis has an announcement planned at the Game Changers Event.
