Studio Liverpool was working on Wipeout for the PlayStation 4 before Sony closed it down earlier today, according to a new report.
A source told Eurogamer that the game was “dramatically different” to any other entry in the series, and has apparently been in development for the last 18 months. The source also revealed that the studio was working on a game similar to Splinter Cell that used facial motion-capture techniques like those used in L.A. Noire.
Sadly all Studio Liverpool projects have been canceled following its closure.
