Gamecube and PlayStation 2 RPG Tales of Symphonia is set to get a HD re-release on PlayStation 3, according to a new report.

The Tales of Symphonia: Perfect Edition pack will apparently include HD remakes of Tales of Symphonia and its Wii exclusive sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

Tales series boss Hideo Baba told Spanish site Koi-Nya of the pack during an interview saying that it would be “a representation of the dreams and hopes of the fans, who have long been wanting it.”

Now there’s been no official word from Namco Bandai on the existence of these HD upgrades so take this with a pinch of salt for now.
