THE BUZZ: A voice actor has now claimed to have recorded lines for “Half-Life Episode 3″. Might we indeed see the next chapter of the Half-Life saga sooner rather than later?

The comment was made to Official Xbox 360 Magazine in the UK, who wonders if the project would indeed be Episode 3, or if instead that game would be Half-Life 3. (OXM notes that Valve previously stated they were moving away from the “Episode” tagline.)

If voice recording is being done for the project—whatever it is—then it could be well into its development cycle at this point. This mention, if true, also connects to the Half-Life 3 shirts claimed to have been spotted recently around the Valve offices.

EGM’s TAKE: So, what do you think? Half-Life Episode 3? Half-Life 3? Or is this all just one big ruse?
