A leaked retail document has suggested that the Xbox One will launch on November 8.

The document, which contains a list of upcoming midnight launches at retailer Walmart, lists the console’s launch date as November 8. The source that leaked the list works for a company contracted by Walmart to produce signage and product placements.

Most of the midnight launches on the list are marked as “confirmed,” but the Xbox One launch is not, suggesting that the retailer is still awaiting confirmation from Microsoft.

This date actually makes a lot of sense. Microsoft now knows when Sony is planning on releasing the PlayStation 4 and is probably aiming to get onto the market first.
