Microsoft has announced plans to release four DLC packs for Ryse: Son of Rome after launch, which can be bought in advance via a season pass.

Users can purchase the season pass for $19.99, which offers a 25 percent saving on buying the packs individually. As an added bonus, purchasers of the pass will receive an exclusive in-game sword and shield for use in multiplayer.

For those of you wondering exactly what the season pass will net you: 14 multiplayer maps, a new game mode, six player skins, level events, and a new tier of weapons and armor.
