Crytek has released two new sets of downloadable content for Ryse: Son of Rome‘s Gladiator co-op mode—one a free update, and the other a paid add-on.
The free update adds two new level events that will occur randomly across the game’s maps: a turret which launches arrows, and Reward Statues that can be used to increase health or focus. The paid for add-on is called the Colosseum Pack and includes two additional arenas and two new gladiator skins. The first arena, Henge, is set in a forest, while the second, Ascension, sees players fighting their way through Hades’ lair.
The two new gladiator skins are of Commodus, the twisted son of Emperor Nero, and a battle-tested Roman Centurion.
The Colosseum Pack will set you back $3.99, but its free for owners of the Ryse: Son of Rome DLC season pass, priced at $19.99.
