A sequel to first-person shooter survival horror game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is in development at GSC Game World.
The announcement was made on a new website for the sequel that simply features the name S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and a release window of 2021. Absolutely nothing else is known about the game at this time.
GSC Game World originally announced a sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in 2010, but the game was cancelled in 2012 when the studio was shuttered. The studio was later brought back in 2014.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was originally released for PC in 2007. It was followed by S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky in 2008 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat in 2010.
