The soon to be ex-boss of THQ Danny Bilson, has dropped a few hints on what we can expect from Saints Row 4.
Speaking at a pre-E3 showcase for THQ in London Bilson warned that he couldn’t talk about the game, before doing it anyway. “Generally I’m incredibly excited about the content in Saints Row 4” he said. “There’s a lot of new characters and new points of view in the game.”
“It expands the appeal of the game. It has all the stuff you love, plus more stuff you’ve never seen in any game. Well, we kind of do that with Saints Row, right?” He also mentioned that THQ “probably” won’t start talking about Saints Row 4 for at least another year. Could this mean a next-gen release is on the cards?
The only way to broaden the appeal of Saints Row would be to turn down the insanity – something that the series’ core fans would be horrified to see. It will need to be a careful balancing act. We hope the developers make small adjustments and don’t screw it up.
How do you think the team could expand Saints Row’s appeal?
