Saints Row IV‘s “Grass Roots Pack” is now available for purchase, developer Volition and publisher Deep Silver announced today.

The Grass Roots Pack adds new outfits and vehicles inspired by farm life and a new weapon, the Plunger Launcher, which does exactly what you think it does.

The Presidential Pack, which adds Obama, Bush, Lincoln, and Washington caricature-skins, is also available today. Both packs are priced at $2.99 a pop.

Deep Silver also announced today that Saints Row IV, which is now available on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, has gone on to sell over one million units in its first week since launching August 20 in North America. According to the press release, this is a 3:1 ratio in sales over Saints Row: The Third‘s.

“We are incredibly happy of the reception for Saints Row IV as a critical and now a commercial success,” Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media. “The development team at Volition is second-to-none as a driving creative force in the entertainment industry and we are very proud to have them as a part of the Deep Silver family.”
