THE BUZZ: THQ today released “Shock and Awesome”, a new trailer for Saints Row: The Third.

EGM’s TAKE: First, of course, I have to mention the little homages the trailer gives to the now-familiar style of the countless Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 trailers that have come along.

Also, thought I was never a Saints Row fan before, I’m really interesting in The Third. The game seems so over-the-top and crazy, looking like it’ll mix the elements of Grand Theft Auto that I loved when I wasn’t being serious and playing for the storyline elements. Plus, any open-world multiplayer game that lets me create my own character is something I’m always willing to try.
