Saints Row XBLA Cancelled Due To High Costs

Saints Row: Drive By was supposed to be an Xbox Live Arcade title that was being published by THQ until they decided to cancel it.

THQ made the decision to cancel the game after development costs began to get to high, THQ Core boss Danny Bilson told Gamespot;

“Honestly, it was an Xbox LIVE game that we started that was really
good, but the costs were getting really high for the platform, so we
shelved it, that’s all it is; it’s not really a big story.”

So anyone who was actually looking forward to this had better forget all about it. Saints Row: The Third is due to release this November on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
