Samurai Warriors 4 will launch on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita this fall in the U.S. and Europe, Tecmo Koei Europe today confirmed on Twitter.

According to text appended to the top left of an image accompanying the tweet, a CG trailer for the game will be shown at Tecmo Koei’s booth, presumably during E3 2014.

At the end of December last year, producer Hisashi Koinuma strongly hinted at a Western release of Samurai Warriors 4 on Twitter, suggesting it would find its way outside of Japan sometime during the summer of 2014.

Yesterday, Tecmo Koei announced that Hyrule Warriors—their Dynasty Warriors–style Zelda game—would launch on Wii U August 14 in Japan. Samurai Warriors 4 launched in Japan this past March.A ssuming development and localization time are roughly similar, Hyrule Warriors, it stands to reason, will wander over to North America and Europe six or so months later.
