Save $12 On Your Modern Warfare 3 Pre-Order?

THE BUZZ: Online retailer Newegg has reportedly started a pre-order discount offer on Modern Warfare 3 this morning that lets customers save $12 off the retail price tag. The company is said to be offering a pre-order on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC for just $47.99 – a dozen bucks discount off the game’s usual $59.99 price tag. All you have to do, according to other sites, is to enter the code “EMCYTZT832″ at checkout to score your savings. The deal is set to expire Sunday at 11:59 pm PST.

EGM’s TAKE: EGM hasn’t ordered from Newegg and can’t vouch for their delivery and service, but $12 is a steep cut for such a major title. Unfortunately, many will have already pre-ordered by now and, according to other sources, the deal doesn’t appear to be available to our friends outside of North America.
