Scott Pilgrim Game (Finally) Adds XBLA Online Multiplayer This August
Posted on August 7, 2012 AT 11:20am
One of the most glaring flaws of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is finally getting patched on Xbox Live this month, as online multiplayer becomes accessible on August 19th. We guess “better late than never” is the developer’s attitude here, but maybe Ubisoft just didn’t get around to doing the online code for some reason.
Whatever the case, at least it’s getting fixed up now, but sadly, it’s not even a free update.
What can we say—that extra bit of development isn’t cheap, Ubisoft’s lateness notwithstanding.
Aside from the online access, Ubisoft’s $5 DLC package includes a new playable character, Scott’s gay roommate Wallace Wells. Based on his role in the graphic novels and the movies, I assume that his special power involves seducing everything on-screen at once.
