Ubisoft recently shocked the world when it announced that Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game was getting a patch that would enable the game to be played online. Now, Ubisoft has made another slightly less shocking announcement—that said patch has been delayed.

Previously, the patch was supposed to be coming this week—now, it’ll be hitting for PSN and XBLA this fall instead.

Does the delay suck? Sure, but let’s be fair: We never expected such a patch to be coming, and we’re already waited for 2+ years anyhow. A few more months won’t kill anybody.
