Today, EA and Criterion Games announced Burnout CRASH!, the next chapter of the Burnout series. The game, coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this Fall, is described as “a crazy mix of pinball and game show”. Hmm.

Weve evolved the core gameplay which everyone loved about Crash Mode, and expanded the whole experience using music, style and Autolog to create what we feel is the most mindless fun you can have on any gaming platform, said Burnout CRASH! creative director Richard Franke.

Burnout CRASH! will feature three game modes, 18 crash junctions, six unique locations, unlockable vehicles, and more.

As well, the XBLA version of Burnout CRASH! will feature a game mode designed exclusively for Kinect, in which “two teams use gestural controls to play on one television in a party battle.”
