In 2010, the new Ghost Recon project that Red Storm Entertainment had been working on for two and a half years was cancelled by Ubisoft. Now, screenshots of that project have appeared online.
The assets come from the portfolio page of Matt Turner, who is a senior user interface artist for developer Red Storm. The screenshots serve as concept or mock-up work for what Turner labels “Ghost Recon X”, the project that was in development but then cancelled.
Due to what the screenshots were being used for, they may not be a full representation of what the actual game may have looked like. Still, they’re a very interesting look at a game that now will never see the light of day.
