Scribblenauts CEO: Wii U Definitely More Powerful Than PS3, Xbox 360

It seems not many people can agree on whether the Nintendo Wii U is more powerful than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. So, which video game developer is telling us the truth about the system’s processing and graphical power?

Is it people like Namco Bandai’s Katsuhiro Harada, who says that the Wii U barely lets him run Tekken Tag Tournament 2?

Or is 5th Cell and Scribblenauts CEO Jeremiah Slaczka the person you should trust, as he says that the rumors regarding the Wii U’s lack of power are nothing more than unfounded hogwash?

Videogamer pulled a quote from the latest issue of Game Informer, where Slaczka firmly says that the Wii U is undoubtedly more advanced than those other two non-Nintendo consoles:

Speaking in the latest issue of Game Informer, Slaczka said that the Wii U is “definitely more powerful than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It’s kind of frustrating to see the rumours and speculation of people going back and forth saying it’s weaker or more powerful. It’s definitely more powerful.

It’s hard to know whom to believe, especially when you consider that we’re talking about the difference between Scribblenauts Unlimited, which is hardly a graphics-intensive game, and Tekken, which pretty much tries to choke its system’s hardware dry in order to have the background stages look like Michael Bay film scenery.

What do you think? Does the Wii U look like it’s potentially more advanced than the other current-gen systems?
