Sea of Thieves

Rare has announced that it will be holding its inaugural Gold and Glory Weekend in Sea of Thieves this weekend.

From March 15th through March 18th, players can earn “a huge boost in gold and reputation rewards simply by delivering their spoils to the Trading Companies.”

In addition, the developer announced that it is relaunching Sea of Thieves‘ Insider Program, and now it’s open to all players. As an added bonus, players will be able to earn in-game gold, Doubloons, and “some very snazzy, very exclusive cosmetics” by playing Insider builds. Sign up to join the program here.

“We’re calling on the community’s boldest pirates to venture into the unknown and help us test exciting new features early, give us feedback and get a little something for their help,” Rare added. “As an Insider, you’ll gain access to a shiny new Insider area of the website where you’ll be able to find patch notes for the latest Insider build, see what kind of feedback we’d like you to focus on each week and more.”

Rare notes that Insider builds are under an NDA and that “sharing of any media related to Insider content is outright prohibited.”

Sea of Thieves is available now on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
