Sea of Thieves

Rare has released a new update for Sea of Thieves that makes it easier for players to complete all of the Cursed Sails battles.

The update makes it so players who can only play at fix times can take on different skeleton crews. This change was made in response to player feedback and means that different battles will spawn during the same time each week . This should give players a chance to encounter multiple battles during the same fixed play time window.

Other Cursed Sails changes include an increase in the radius of hearing battle music, an extension to the timer between battles, and an increase in the battle despawn timer.

As well as the above, the update includes multiple server and client crash fixes, the return of Skeleton Forts, and a fix for cannon audio persisting after being fired from one. Read the full patch notes here.

Sea of Thieves is available now on Xbox One and PC.
