A second expansion for State of Decay, titled Lifeline, is coming to PC and Xbox 360 presumably sometime this year, developer Undead Labs announced.
“We’re not ready to discuss features or make promises,” community manager Sanya Weathers wrote in a post on Undead’s official website. “All we can tell you is that it will offer you a new way to play your favorite survival game, that we intend to launch on PC and the Xbox 360 at the same time, and that yes, it will broaden your horizons by a few kilometers.
“Fine, I’ll say it straight up: There’s a new map, okay?”
According to Weathers, there’s no final release date yet for Lifeline, but the it is far enough into development for the team to be conducting internal playtests. A design article detailing the open-world survival horror game’s second expansion is coming by month’s end.
