Sega has labeled the information on the photo taken at the Nuremburg Toy Fair, which seemed to reveal an unannounced Sonic game for 2015, as “incorrect.”
Over the weekend, a photo taken at toy manufacturer Jazwares’ booth appeared online listing an unannounced Sonic game set to release in 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Wii U.
“Sega is yet to announce details of upcoming console video games for Sonic the Hedgehog or further details regarding the new Sonic CG TV series,” a spokesperson told Eurogamer. “The recent information coming out of Nuremburg Toy Fair was incorrect.

Sega announced a deal with Nintendo back in May 2013 to release a trilogy of Sonic games exclusively on the Wii U and 3DS. Two of these games, Sonic Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, are already available, but the third is yet to be announced.
