EA let fans down with its lack of Skate 4, but Xbox has fans covered with its announcement of the Skate-inspired indie title Session, coming first to Xbox One.

Session was originally a Kickstarter project, with clear intentions to capture the magic of EA’s Skate series. The game reached its Kickstarter goals, and after being teased for a Xbox and PC release in 2019, its console launch was confirmed by a new gameplay trailer on Xbox’s E3 stage.

Session is slated to launch on Xbox and PC first, but it is expected to launch on PlayStation 4 sometime after. It does not currently have a release date.
