Shadowrun: Dragonfall, the first expansion for Harebrained Schemes’ Kickstarter-funded Shadowrun Returns, launches on Windows PC, Mac, and Linux February 27, the developer announced today.

According to a post on Harebrained Schemes’ official website, the team tried hard to land their original January release window, but “a few rough edges still remain,” requiring the additional month for “polish and bugfixing” in order to “deliver a great Shadowrun experience.”

Dragonfall will be free to backers and $14.99 to non-backers. The expansion is currently available for pre-order on Steam.

Shadowrun’s first expansion will introduce new environments, naturally, but also a new save system that allows players to save at any time. This new save system will also be integrated into the game’s debut campaign, Dead Man’s Switch, when Dragonfall launches next month.
