THE BUZZ: Fans of side-scrolling actions games now have even more fun to look forward to with the release of Shank 2, and EA has put out a new launch trailer for the game.

EGM’s TAKE: So, I never played the original Shank. Not because I disliked it or anything, but because, you know, there have been like 8,000 games released in the last few years. (Or at least, it seems that way.)

Watching this launch trailer for Shank 2, however, I feel like maybe I should finally give this series a look. It’s a little bloody for my tastes, but I do like the art style, and overall the game seems to have a great level of personality and flair to it.

Did you play the original Shank, and/or are you looking forward to playing Shank 2? Give me some thoughts in the comments below!
