Atlus’ formerly Japan-exclusive RPG Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final, will be called Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse when it releases in the West this summer.
The 3DS exclusive is a completely new title set in the same universe as the 2013’s Shin Megami Tensei IV. A teaser trailer shows off the game’s protagonist, who pledges her life in servitude to a lesser demon named Daguza for the chance to survive the war between angels and demons.
A more specific launch date than summer 2016 has not been revealed.
Disclosure: Former EGM employee Chris Holzworth is a member of the Atlus localization team that worked on Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. No information was provided by Chris for this post.
