Shovel Knight is launching March 31, developer Yacht Club Games announced through a new gameplay trailer.

As made painfully by way of the header image (above) and the trailer itself (embedded below), Shovel Knight is an old school, 2D platformer that’s equal parts DuckTales and Mega Man. Yacht Club Games, a studio based out of Valencia, CA comprised of former WayForward Technologies developers, first announced their debut title alongside a Kickstarter campaign to fund it, soaring past their $75,000 goal with $311,502 collected by the campaign’s conclusion.

Shovel Knight is coming to Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Windows PC, Mac, and Linux.
