Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 6 will be getting a new Siege Mode in March to coincide with the game’s PC release.
Siege is an online multiplayer mode for between two to six players, and sees a “lone AI-controlled rookie BSAA agent” in trouble and needing assistance. Players are split into two teams, one take control of monsters trying to kill the rookie, the other controls soldiers trying to save him. Each match consists of two rounds, with players swapping over at the end of the first.
All four post-launch DLC game modes–Survivors, Predator, Onslaught, and Siege–will be available to download for free on PC. Siege will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March, priced at 320 Microsoft Points or $3.99.
Finally, Survivors, Predator, and Onslaught will be available for PlayStation 3 in February, priced at $3.99 each.
