Codemasters is preparing for the raft of changes coming in the 2017/18 Formula One season by offering players a chance to test an early version of its next F1 game.

“Looking forward, the development team have been hard at work on the next project for some time now, and we can’t wait to share some of the fantastic new game additions with you,” the developer wrote. “However in the meantime, we have several very exciting opportunities for you to get involved in the development of the game. Last year, we ran a very successful program of community testing and beta tests, in which you gave us some incredible feedback that helped us shape the game.

“We’re very excited to announce that they were so successful that this year we’re not only widening their scope, but we’re starting the process earlier as well.”

The first beta test for the game will allow players to try out the game’s new handling model and is due to begin shortly after the Formula One season gets underway.

Interested players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC can sign up for the beta here.
