PlayStation 4 owners in North America and Europe can now sign up for a chance to beta test the console’s next system software update.

“Behind the scenes here at PlayStation, our technical teams are busily creating all of the new features, updates and improvements that are coming your way in the next PS4 system software update,” product manager Jayne Murphy wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

Successful applicants will get the chance to test the new features and improvements in the update before anyone else. To sign up, you’ll need a PlayStation 4 console, an internet connection, and access to the console’s master account. European PS4 owners can sign up here, while PS4 owners in North America can sign up here.

More information about what’s included in the update will be shared closer to the start of the beta in early August.

PlayStation 4’s last major update introduced boost mode on PS4 Pro, external hard drive support, custom wallpapers, the upgraded Quick Menu, and more.
