Silent Hill

THE BUZZ: Konami has released the first screenshots of Silent Hill: Book of Memories for the PlayStation Vita. The publsiher has been very quiet in regards to details, however it has been confirmed that it will be the first game in the series to contain multiplayer.

“This cooperative mode lets players explore the Otherworlds together, while scary surroundings, limited resources and dark atmosphere keep the tension high. The story follows a mysterious book, which includes all of the player’s [memories] – and this content can be altered…” according to Konami.

No release date is yet to be set for the game.

EGM’s TAKE: The introduction of multiplayer is a brave move by the team, considering Silent Hill is all about being alone, but if they pull it off then expect it to appear in the core franchise games also.

What do you think of a Silent Hill game will multiplayer? Leave your thoughts below.
