Silent Hill HD Collection Dated Again

THE BUZZ: Konami has confirmed a new official release date for the Silent Hill HD Collection.

Originally expected to release late last year, the game was pushed back to March 6.. Konami has now announced that the game will release March 20 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The collection bundles HD remakes of Silent Hill 2 and 3. A recent set of ratings has suggested that a digital release may also be on the cards.

EGM’s TAKE: Well it appears that the wait is finally over and we now have a solid release date for the collection. If you’re waiting for a digital release before purchasing then we seriously suggest that you don’t bother. Based on previous HD re-releases the price of them digitally (usually requiring separate purchases) is usually more expensive than the retail pack.
