EA Maxis has announced that a SimCity beta is scheduled to start next week and players can sign up right now.

The beta is scheduled to start January 25 and run until January 28. Players looking to register can do so here–an Origin account is required.

“We are extremely excited with our progress so far and would especially like to thank you the fans for your continued participation and support,” the developer said. “We are humbled by your passion, it fuels us to work even harder to make the game we’ve been dreaming of, and deliver the SimCity you’ve always wanted.”
