SimCity is heading into the future with its first expansion, Cities of the Future, which will turn your cities into….well you can probably guess.

Cities of the Future takes SimCity 50-75 years into the future and offers mag trains, emergency drones, Omegacorp, modular medgatowers, skybridges, and plenty of futuristic-looking neon lights. Megatowers contain up to eight modules which can be split anyway you like between residential, industry, and commercial, and offer bonuses to nearby buildings.

The semi-evil OmegaCorp building adds a new resource to the game called Omega. This new resource will slowly take over your Sims and buildings, and will sell insanely well, but if the supply dries up it could bring your whole city crashing down, so be careful.

Players can also build Garbage Atomizers, which zap trash into thin air, Wave Generators, which create electricity from nearby water sources, and Ground Scrubbers, allowing players to turn ground pollution and radioactive land into air pollution.

SimCity: Cities of the Future is set to release November 12.
