SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow Trailer Introduces New Structures, Services

Posted on November 5, 2013 AT 10:45am

The latest trailer for SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow introduces some of the structures you’ll be buying to help your futuristic city grow and thrive.

Replacing modern-day SimCity staples such as the power and water facilities, sewage and waste disposal plants, standard residential and commercial buildings, et cetera, are Cities of Tomorrow’s Academy, which can be used to research advanced technology, the wave generator as a power source, Maglev Stations for transportation, and Garbage Atomizer for waste management.

These, of course, are only just a few of the handful of buildings highlighted in the video embedded below.

SimCity’s Cities of Tomorrow expansion will also add two new city specializations, one that leans toward corporate consumerism and another that errors on the side of a green utopian.

SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow launches next week, on November 12.
