The seventh SimCity status update posted by producer Barry Tingle announced the completion of the server upgrades.

According to Tingle, SimCity’s now runs on “new, faster/higher capacity server architecture” that the team plans to continue optimizing.

Tingle also revealed a server status page, and detailed patch 1.5. The patch addresses trade intermittency issues, as well as regional interaction responsiveness. The full patch notes can be viewed on EA’s forums.
