Six Game Boy Mega Man games coming to 3DS Virtual Console in May

Posted on April 1, 2014 AT 10:45am

Six Mega Man titles are coming to the 3DS Virtual Console in May, and Capcom is asking fans to vote on which title arrives first, according to a post on Capcom Unity.

Four Game Boy Mega Man games—Mega Man II, III, IV, and IV—and Mega Man Xtreme and Xtreme 2 for Game Boy Color are all coming to the 3DS Virtual Console regardless, but fans can vote on which won first arrives on May 1, with the remaining titles launching each successive Thursday throughout the month.

Votes must be submitted by 10 a.m. Pacific Time on April 14. Results are set to hidden, unfortunately, so I can’t tell you what direction the collective, rabid Mega Man fan base seems to be leaning with these six options.

In other Virtual Console news, albeit on Wii U, Game Boy Advance games will start being added beginning on April 3 with Advance Wars, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Metroid Fusion. Each game will be available for $7.99. Other titles will be added April 10, 17, and 24.
